Kids Running Club Finale a Success

Once again the PFF teamed up with Meridian Township to offer a Kids Running Club. This fall, participants in 3rd-6th grade learned Good Form Running and explored the trails around Nancy Moore Park in Okemos. The 10 session program culminated in the KRC 3k run where kids, parents, family and friends got to share in the joy of running. PFF Benefits from the Glo-Run

The national Glo-Run tour made its inaugural stop in Lansing on October 24th. 2200 runners enjoyed a great time on a cool fall night running in the dark at Hawk Island. Runners of all ages and abilities came with friends and family to experience the fun of running with glow sticks and glow glasses. Summer Kids Club Puts Their Best Foot Foward

Over 100 kids, parents and families celebrated the end of a great summer program with a fun run/walk hosted by the PFF on August 21st at Edgewood elementary. Autumn Classic Run/Walk Raises More Than $35,000 For Local Special Olympics

The 21st annual Playmakers Autumn Classic Run/Walk raised more than $35,000 for Area 8 Special Olympics. The record breaking amount came from the 894 participants along with local business donations. This is the 8th year Playmakers has donated the race costs as well as all registration fees to Area 8. The funds will assist with the Young Athlete Program, Project Unify, and registration costs for the State Winter Games and Basketball tournaments...

Lansing School District and PFF Team Up to Earn $1000 Grant
