10 Reasons to do the Playmakers Classic Triathlon

1. Clean, clear and calm water for the swim
2. Fast relatively flat bike course on great roads (it’s hard to find local roads without potholes but this route is “pothole- free”)
3. This year’s run is planned to be part trail, part asphalt, part grassy path (not the same as last year)
4. The distances are perfect whether you are looking for a slightly more challenging sprint or you are training for a longer fall race.
5. Returning this year is the race shirt long-sleeved hoodie
6. Very cool medal for all finishers
7. This is a USAT sanctioned race. Are you tracking points for USAT Mideast Region Racing Series? Hoping to qualify for Age Group Nationals? This is your race.
8. The Classic is adding a college level division this year
9. This is a well organized local race where every detail has been planned for the safety and enjoyment of the triathlete
10. All proceeds go to the Playmakers Fitness Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to the wellness of the Mid-Michigan community, working to empower people to adopt and sustain a healthier and more active lifestyle.
