Key events week....

Wednesday high school cross country meets include the first CAAC Red Jamboree at Owosso and the Ovid-Elsie Marauder Invitational. On Saturday, meets include the Bath Invitational and Corunna Invitational, and prize money wil again be offered at the Charlotte Frontier Days Live Life Nspired 5K. On Sunday, the 100th race series event will take place at the Kellie Sebrell Memorial DeWitt Trail 5K and many others will compete in the Sparrow Women Working Wonders 5K/0K at Hawk island Park.

Grand Ledge Summer Track finale on Wednesday + July 21 results

The Grand Ledge Summer Recreation Track and Field Series concludes on Wednesday night (July 28).

 

Partial results have been posted from this past Wednesday's Grand Ledge Summer Track and Field Championship. More event results will be added soon.

26 area runners completed the Boston Marathon last week

A total of 26 mid-Michigan area runners completed the Boston Marathon on April 19. Dick Miles wrote a story in the Lansing State Journal about a few and the event prior to the run. For further information, see the Boston Marathon web site.
