The Greater Lansing Honor Roll Meet of Champions and the Junior Honor Roll are the premier invitationals for individual Track and Field athletes in the Greater Lansing Area. A weekly performance listing is produced for both the Honor Roll (high school) and Junior Honor Roll (middle school) highlighting the best performances in the Greater Lansing area. The top athletes on the performance list at the end of the season will be invited to compete at the Honor Roll Meet of Champions!
The Honor Roll (high school) weekly list will be updated Tuesday nights starting April
25 and continuing through Memorial Day weekend. The weekly list will be used as the final invitation to compete in the Honor Roll Meet of Champions on Tuesday, May 31.
The Junior Honor Roll (middle school) will be updated continuously starting the first full week of May and continuing through Memorial Day!
New this spring, Playmakers will award a Track and Field Athlete of the Week for both the high school and middle school athletes. All performances/athletes selected will come from the weekly performance list and selected by the Honor Roll committee. Track is back at Playmakers! Our mission is to celebrate everything Track & Field by naming the Playmakers Track and Field Athlete of the Week sponsored by New Balance for both high school and middle school. To be eligible, coaches must simply submit their athlete's performances to the Honor Roll and the committees will select the winners. Each athlete will receive an Athlete of the Week trucker cap provided by New Balance!
Honor Roll (high school): A male and female track and field athlete will be named each week.
Middle School (middle school): A male and female track and field athlete will be named each week.

This year's 43rd Honor Roll Meet of Champions will go back to its roots by hosting the event at Ed Madejski Stadium at Sexton High School. The mission of the Honor Roll Meet of Champions is to showcase the area's top athletes in each Track and Field event. Join us at the Honor Roll and join the fun!

Participation: Entries into the Honor Roll Meet of Champions will be made by each team's coach on Athletic.net. Athletes must appear on the final Honor Roll listing to be entered into the invitational. Appearing on the Honor Roll "Weekly Listing" does not guarantee entry into the meet.
Athlete Entry: Coaches should enter athletes between Thursday, May 25 at 5pm and Sunday, May 28 @ 5pm.
Accepted Athletes: The following is the number of athletes in each event that will be invited to compete in the Honor Roll Meet of Champions from those entered on Athletic.net during the entry time.
Top 16 athletes in 100, 200, 400, 110/100 hurdles, 300 hurdles (2 sections)
Top 8 athletes plus ties in the high jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put and discus
Top 24 athletes in the 1600 and 3200 runs (1 section)
Top 20 athletes in the 800 (1 section)
Top 8 teams in the 4 x100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 relays (1 section)
Top 12 teams in the 4 x 800 relay (1 section)

The 2017 Middle School "Junior" Honor Roll will take place at Okemos High School on Thursday, June 1. Coaches from participating teams should submit names, grades, and performances of athletes to Jeff Crowe, the Meet Director of the Junior Honor Roll (email@example.com). Performance updates, adjustments, names/grades, and any other corrections should be made by a school's coaching staff and sent to the Meet Director.

Course awareness: Please watch the course and give athletes plenty of room to run and pass one another. Spectators must stay behind ropes and flags at the starting line, 1 mile mark, and finish straight.
